Meet Dr. Amr Abdelaal

Founder and Leading Surgeon

The visionary behind ELOTC, a distinguished hepatobiliary and transplant surgeon. With a career marked by a profound dedication to liver health, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront of our clinic.

Dr. Amr is a distinguished surgeon with a significant impact on liver care. Holding the position of Professor of Surgery at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, he also serves as the Director of the Liver Transplantation Program at Air-Force Specialized Hospital and Nasser Institute for Research, a Consultant of HPB Surgery & Liver Transplantation for SGH (Saudi German Hospitals) group, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

His academic journey includes obtaining his MD Degree in General Surgery from Ain Shams University and pursuing advanced studies in Europe. He earned a DIU (Diplome Inter-universitaire) of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Paris XI, France (2007-2008), and a European University Diploma of Hepato-Bilio-Pancreatic Cancer from the same institution (2006-2007). Additionally, he completed the Hesperis Course and Diploma by ESOT (European Society of Organ Transplantation) in Lyon, France (2006) and Malmo, Sweden (2007).

Dr. Amr's dedication to liver care extends beyond borders. He contributed significantly during his tenure in France, working for over three years at Hospital Edouard Herriot, Lyon. His responsibilities included teaching, liver transplant operations, and performing various surgeries, solidifying his expertise in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.
